A Verizon representative demonstrates the new Motorola XOOM Android 3.0 tablet on the show floor at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The unit has a 10.1-inch, 1280-by-800-pixel screen, supports 1080p HD video playback and will ship with Android 3.0, otherwise known as Honeycomb, which is the first Android version developed from the start to support tablets. The unit will not initially run on Verizon's ultra-high-speed LTE network, but will be a 3G unit for now, the Verizon representative explained. There's a two-megapixel camera on the front as well as a five-megapixel camera on the back.
