Samsung House, a showcase of Samsung's newest home appliances, opens Saturday in New York's chic SoHo district. At a press preview, Hilary Farr, host of HGTV's "Love it or List It," joined Tim Baxter, president of Samsung Electronics America, and five top chefs to show off products like the Samsung DV457 Dryer, which can be controlled with a smartphone app. It won a US EPA Energy Star award for its power efficiency. Samsung House, 372 West Broadway will open 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 15-16.
